Safe Nasoendoscopy Assisted Procedure
30th April 2020
SNAP device clicks onto a conventional surgical mask, creating a lumen through which the clinician can pass an endoscope directly into the patients nose.
The patient wears the mask and aligns the mask with their nostril ready for the surgeon to introduce the endoscope. Any coughs, sneezes or splutters during the procedure are caught within the mask. This increases the safety for the clinician, and allows them to provide the best care for patients.
