HEALTH AND SAFETY
Microscopix Limited recognises that it has a responsibility to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare at work of all its employees and all others who are involved with its activity or products. The identification, assessment and control of health and safety and other risks is a management responsibility of equal importance to commercial considerations.
The matters to which the duty extends include:
- The provision and maintenance of the plant and systems of work that are safe and without risk to health.
- Arrangements for ensuring safety and absence of a risk to health in connection with the use, handling, storage and transport of articles and substances.
- The provision of such information, instruction, training and supervision as is necessary to ensure the health and safety at work of employees.
- The provision and maintenance of a working environment that is safe and without risk to health.
- The provision and maintenance of means of access to and egress from the place of work that are safe and without risk to health.
- The provision of adequate facilities and arrangements for employees’ welfare at work.
